The Suunto 9 Baro Titanium Limited Edition is an ultra-durable multisport GPS watch with up to 7 days of continuous exercising tracking. The durable watch is equipped with a titanium bezel, sapphire crystal and an abrasion-resistant textile strap in two lengths and has been tested to US military standard 810H. It offers a wealth of sports and outdoor features to keep you on track on your adventure, including weather and location insights, altitude info and navigation.
Equipped with different battery modes
With the four predefined battery modes, Performance, Endurance, Ultra and Tour, you can record for 25 and up to 170 hours with GPS tracking switched on. When you start a recording, you’ll see an estimate of the remaining battery life in the current mode. If it’s not enough, you can switch to another mode at any time. Suunto 9 uses smart reminders based on your activity history to ensure it’s fully charged for your next outing. The watch detects when the battery is running low during exercise and then automatically suggests switching to another battery mode.
FusedTrack technology for accurate route and distance data
On long ultra runs, battery life is often a limiting factor for recording distance and track accurately, as GPS heavily drains the battery. The unique Suunto FusedTrack algorithm provides improved tracking and distance accuracy by combining GPS and motion sensor data. As a result, the battery life can be extended by lowering the GPS power without compromising accuracy.
